LPE@HLS is pleased to announce two special event series for the Spring 2024 semester!
In partnership with our friends at the Center for Labor and a Just Economy, the first series, Supply Chain Capitalism: Legal Regimes and Worker Power, will examine law’s role in structuring global supply chains. Across four installments, we will discuss how contemporary modes of supply, production, and capital ownership – or Supply Chain Capitalism – impact the distribution of power and resources between the global north and the global south and between capital and labor.
The second series, Law, Gender, and the Political Economy of Social Reproduction, will feature leading feminist legal scholars as they examine law’s role in contructing the political economy of gender and sexuality.
All events comprising these two series will be held in-person and livestreamed. We hope you’ll join us! Don’t forget to check out the full LPE@HLS calendar at our Events page.
